20 20 World Cup 2023 Women’s – ICC Wom T20 World Cup 2023 was the eighth edition of the ICC Wom T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in South Africa between 10th February to 26th February 2023.

South Africa automatically qualified for the tournament as hosts. They were joined by the seven highest-ranked teams in the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings as of 30 November 2021, who were participating in the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

Each team selected a 15-man squad before the tournament, and was able to replace injured players.

In August 2022, the ICC announced that three cities would host three matches in three cities. Newlands Cricket Ground, St George’s Park and Boland Park were worth visiting.

On 27 January 2023, the ICC appointed an all-female panel of match officials for the tournament. Along with the umpires, G.S. Lakshmi, Shandre Fritz and Michelle Pereira were also announced as referees for the match.

A total prize purse of US$2,450,000 was available for the competition and was allocated according to team performance as follows:

Before the T20 World Cup, the participating countries participated in warm-up matches, which were played from 6 February to 8 February 2023. These matches did not have Wom’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) or WT20 status.
